The Bracken Clan

The Bracken's like most families have a long and crazy history with loads of characters and adventures between the lot of them.  Following the death of my Dad, Neil S Bracken we descended on the family home in North County Dublin in Ireland and found the family history laid out in the family albums.  With all of the house moves, marriages, breakups, reorganizations' etc. that have happened over the years many of these have become dispersed and indeed I am sure some have been lost to time.  In any case I found a bit of text my dad wrote in the 1990s which I thought would do as a starting point for the family story.  I will focus on my generation looking back as, these days putting personal data relating to living individuals on the web is a courting for disaster sadly as some use it for their own benefit.
